Nina Holzer
Vice President, Housing and Financial Empowerment
As Vice President of Housing and Financial Empowerment, Nina provides programmatic leadership and oversees the Financial Empowerment platform for homeownership, housing stability and resident services. A macro social worker and Northeast Ohio native, Nina is passionate about housing and economic justice. Prior to joining CHN, she served as Program Manager in the City of Cleveland’s Community Development Department, where she oversaw the development and launch of the City’s Healthy Homes Initiative. Additionally, Nina has worked as Manager of CDC Advancement with Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and as a Researcher & Project Manager with the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development at Case Western Reserve University.
Nina is a member of NeighborWorks’ Financial Capability Advisory Committee, the City of Cleveland’s Board of Zoning Appeals, the Northwest Neighborhoods CDC Board and Executive Committee, and the Cleveland VOTES Advisory Committee (where she serves as Finance Committee chair). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Ohio University, as well as a Master of Science in Social Administration and a Master of Nonprofit Organizations from the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University.
