Our home repair programs provide essential assistance by addressing critical health and safety issues, including lead safe repairs, to keep your home safe and comfortable. North Olmsted Safe & Healthy Homes Home Repair

Cuyahoga County Home Repair

The Cuyahoga County Home Repair Loan Program helps eligible homeowners in Cuyahoga County maintain HUD property standards of safe, sanitary and decent housing. Eligible homeowners can receive a loan up to $20,000 for repairs while funds are available.

Eligible Homeowners
Eligible homeowners will have incomes at or below 120% of the area median income for the county and will be current on their real estate taxes or currently in a payment plan with the county.

Eligible Homes
Eligible homes are located in communities within Cuyahoga County and are single-family and owner-occupied.

Eligible Repairs
Examples of repairs may include: roofs, porches, gutters, furnace/HVAC, plumbing, electrical, walks and driveways.

Lead Remediation

CHN works directly with the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County to address lead hazards in homes and make sures homes are safe and healthy. Currently, intake is closed for these programs. Who is eligible for the home repair programs?

Please note: Eligibility requirements vary program to program. Please email the home repair team to confirm requirements.

North Olmsted: Homeowners in the City of North Olmsted with a household income of less than 300% of the federal poverty level may be eligible for a loan towards health and safety repairs.

Cuyahoga County: Homeowners in Cuyahoga County with an income at or below 120% of the area median income may be eligible for repairs that achieve the standards of safe, sanitary and decent housing. To be eligible, applicants must be current on their real estate taxes or currently have a payment plan with the county. (Please note this program is currently closed to applications.)
