Michael Sering is vice president of housing and shelter at Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry (LMM), where he oversees shelter operations, affordable housing initiatives and social enterprises. He has worked with LMM since 1994 and previously served as associate director for community re-entry. Michael also serves on the St. Clair-Superior Development Corporation Board and the Office of Homeless Services Advisory Board. He joined CHN’s Board in 2016. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Kenyon College and a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University’s Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.
