Libby Palackdharry is Director of Operations for the Detroit Housing Network (DHN) at CHN Housing Partners. Libby started her nonprofit career as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Southwest Solutions (SWS) in 2009 and rose to become Senior Director of Financial Stability Programs & Operations. At SWS, she developed the homeownership and financial coaching team to become a recognized leader in the field, receiving multiple awards including MSHDA’s Housing Counseling Agency of the Year and the Champion for Working Families award. In 2017, Libby was honored as one of Crain’s Detroit “40 Under 40” awardees. After SWS, Libby served as Director of Economic Opportunity Services at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency before starting her own consulting company, SunRaise Consulting. Libby received her undergraduate degree in Communications and Spanish from Michigan State University, and her Master’s in Urban Planning from Wayne State University. Libby also plays the bass guitar and composes music for the band Zosette & the Groove.
