Before retiring in 2013 Chris Warren served as Cleveland’s Chief of Regional Development where his duties included leading the City’s economic and neighborhood development initiatives. His career included a 12-year stint in Mayor Michael White’s cabinet as Community Development Director and Economic Development Director. Over the years he has worked as the executive director of several neighborhood-based nonprofit organizations, including CHN during the 1980s and Tremont West Development Corporation during the 1970s. He is presently a board member of Detroit Shoreway Community Development Corporation and Gordon Square Arts District.
