Runners and Walkers Show Support for the Power of a Permanent Address at CHN’s Annual 5K Race
Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success!
On Saturday, August 13, 2022, we held our second annual Believe in Home 5k. It was an amazing day full of positive energy, smiles, community partners and friends. Over 170 community members, staff from partner organizations and CHN staff walked, ran and jogged to the finish line. We’d like to give a special shoutout to the Northwest Neighborhoods staff for participating and bringing home three medals for their team!
How Running in a 5k Supports the Power of a Permanent Address:
- It supports our key programs, including our Lease Purchase Program and financial counseling education.
- It gets us out into the community to spend the day with clients, community partners and more. We haven’t had many opportunities to do so these past couple of years. It was great to spend the day with everyone.
- It emphasizes our commitment to people and families—they’re at the heart of everything we do.
