
CHN Housing Partners (CHN) announced the hiring of Aaron Hall, CHN’s new Vice President of the Detroit Market. Hall, a lifelong Detroiter, has dedicated his career to advocating for communities of color and driving impactful change through public affairs, policy development and community engagement.

As the Vice President of the Detroit Market, Hall will lead CHN’s work in Detroit, which includes serving as network administrator of the Detroit Housing Network (DHN), affordable housing development, housing preservation, property management and residential mortgage lending. Prior to joining CHN, Hall served as the Director of U.S. State Government Affairs at BorgWarner, where he managed complex advocacy efforts, fostered critical relationships with state and federal officials, and shaped legislative priorities that supported organizational goals. Hall also previously served as the Vice President of Community Engagement & Strategy at Compass Strategies, where he played a crucial role in developing and implementing outreach programs that increased brand awareness and deepened community involvement for major clients, including the Detroit Pistons, Henry Ford Health, and the City of Detroit.

Hall is a father of two and a graduate of Renaissance High School and Ohio Northern University. He has been recognized for his significant contributions to the City of Detroit’s growth and well-being through the Michigan Chronicle 40 Under 40 and the City of Detroit Spirit of Detroit Award.
