The costly repair and maintenance that is part of owning an aging home can be overwhelming.

Our home repair programs provide essential assistance by addressing critical health and safety issues, including lead safe repairs, to keep your home safe and comfortable. Whether your house needs major or minor repairs, we may be able to help. See which program is right for you.

Home Repair and Lead Remediation Programs

You may be eligible for a loan of up to $15,000 for health and safety repairs to help maintain your home. This program is funded by the City of North Olmsted. 

Eligible Homeowners 
Homeowners within the City of North Olmsted with a household income of less than 300% of the federal poverty level may be eligible for a loan of up to $15,000 for health and safety repairs. 

Eligible Homes 
Eligible homes must be single-family (1 unit), owner-occupied and located in North Olmsted. 

Eligible Repairs 
Examples include: roofs, driveways, gutters, exterior paint and siding, porches, windows, furnace/HVAC. Eligible repairs must meet certain health and safety standards in accordance with program guidelines.

The Cuyahoga County Home Repair Loan Program helps eligible homeowners in Cuyahoga County maintain HUD property standards of safe, sanitary and decent housing. Eligible homeowners can receive a loan up to $20,000 for repairs while funds are available. 

Eligible Homeowners 
Eligible homeowners will have incomes at or below 120% of the area median income for the county, and will be current on their real estate taxes or currently in a payment plan with the county. 

Eligible Homes 
Eligible homes are located in communities within Cuyahoga County and are single-family and owner-occupied. 

Eligible Repairs 
Examples of repairs may include: roofs, porches, gutters, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, walks and driveways.

CHN works directly with the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County to address lead hazards in homes. Currently, intake is closed for these programs.
