Ms. Seronica Powell brings over 15 years of experience working in nonprofit in key leadership roles. She is a mother of two, LaKendria and Joseph. She is passionate about working with as well as being a voice for and providing exposure opportunities to individuals and communities that are considered underserved. She is currently the Regional Program Coordinator at the National African American Tobacco Prevention Network and a small business owner, Lajo’s Connects. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Operations Management and Business Statistics from Cleveland State University and a MBA from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Powell currently sits on the Board of Tremont West Development Corporation and Cleveland Housing Network. She is a part of the Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition and a mentor with Rebekah’s Circle. She has successfully completed/participated in Neighborhood Leadership Development Program, Strategic Planning Committee for St. Malachi Center, LeadDiversity, was the Board Vice-President and Board Treasure for Cleveland State Student Chapter American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS).
