Monica Martello
Director, Energy and Lead Services
Monica has been with CHN Housing Partners since 2013 and has 20 years of experience in energy-efficient weatherization programs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Psychology. Monica is responsible for the oversight of multiple government-funded and privately funded programs, budget review, approval and planning, contract negotiations, and direct contact with funders/political associates/partners (including Dominion Energy Ohio, State of Ohio, First Energy, City of Cleveland, Cleveland Water Dept., and Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District). Her experience through the years entails management of community organizing, incubator management, facilities management, Low Income Housing Tax Credit housing, LEED requirements and sustainability, NFPA fire protection systems, Lead Safe weatherization, OSHA 30, and ASHRAE 62.2. She sits on the board of OPAE (Ohio Partners of Affordable Energy), has consulted in partnership with the City of Detroit, and has presented for and led on panel discussions in statewide and national weatherization conferences.
