Kandis has over 20 years of community development experience. Ms. Williams is currently Vice President of Economic Opportunity with Cleveland Neighborhood Progress. In this role she is responsible for integrating programming and services to advance economic opportunities for Cleveland residents. Her work focuses on the integration of education, workforce development, wealth building and health outcomes into the community and economic development systems. Ms. Williams’ volunteer work includes leadership positions with Shaker Heights Development Corporation, Women’s Business Center of Cleveland, and ACTION-Housing, in Pittsburgh, PA. She earned her Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Design and Development from Cleveland State University.
