KeyBank featured resident Anthony Pough and his home, Commons at West Village, one of our Housing First buildings, in a wonderful new video about the bank’s investment in our community.
Housing First, is a collaboration of community organizations led by Enterprise Community Partners. CHN Housing Partners, EDEN, Inc., a nonprofit housing development agency, and Frontline Service, a community mental health organization, are key partners in Housing First. The initiative is on pace to end long-term homelessness in Cuyahoga County by 2020, when construction of a $12.9-million apartment building in Brooklyn Centre is completed at the end of 2019. At that point, Cuyahoga County will have developed enough permanent supportive housing in the community to serve all individuals and families with disabilities who are struggling with long-term homelessness.
Housing First buildings are funded through Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), awarded by Ohio Housing Finance Agency. KeyBank is the equity provider and/or the lender on several Housing First buildings.
Many thanks to KeyBank for its commitment to affordable housing in the communities we serve!
